Everything in the environment is chosen with care, is child-sized, beautiful and serves a developmental purpose. The children are free to use the environment to their full advantage.

We have a beautiful outdoor space with a wooden playground/swing right in our own backyard.
OC Toddler School is a family of three in-home early education programs conveniently located in the cities of Irvine and Ladera Ranch.

What is Montessori Education?
Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential.
Educational materials and teacher developed activities encourage sensory exploration of the world. They help children develop concentration, observation, and assessment skills.
The Classroom
The children enjoy a clean environment furnished with tables, chairs, shelving, and toilets just the right size for them. Planned material to work with and meet all their growing needs. The children get to explore practical life, sensorial, language, math, and dramatic play.
Parent Communication
Daily parent communication through our Kinder lime app is used to inform you of your child’s feeding, sleeping, and diaper changing/potty training schedule as well as any special activities that occur each day. The Lead teacher is always available during drop off and pick up times to chat about any concerns.
Music
During the infant and toddler phase of brain development, music is another “language” that promotes vocabulary acquisition and speaking skills. Music is played throughout the day. Classical music is played during work time and during circle the children learn new songs, old favorites, and play instruments.
Art
Toddlers experiment with many different art mediums to express creativity and to develop fine motor skills. Language skills are further enforced through the child’s description of the art and its personal meaning.
Outside Playtime
Our outdoor toddler environment is an extension of our classrooms. Our yard is a generous space for activities like riding cars, playing ball, dramatic play, and practical life. The children get to go grocery shopping, take their baby doll for a stroll, work with sand, and water.
Potty Training
Children do not need to be toilet trained to enter our program. The restroom is a social area where children can learn all about personal care. Much like in the classroom the teacher will give some guidance without interference. Therefore allowing the children to experience success and gain confidence.
